Hello everyone, and welcome to my first Dean’s blog! The Business School has a number of great initiatives coming up this year, some of which are already underway.
Our first cohort of MBA Full Time students has arrived, and they are already hard to work in their intensive, 12 month program. They come from a wide range of backgrounds and are all looking to advance, and in some cases change the direction of, their careers.
The School is launching two new postgraduate programs this year: the Graduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and the Master of Applied Finance. The GCEI offers experienced professionals and business owners the opportunity to acquire skills and knowledge to become an entrepreneurial manager of either a new or established business, and students will learn how to deal with uncertainty, manage innovation and improve the business through the application of best practice methods of small business management and new product development.
